We are pleased to share that on 29th of October 2021 a site visit, facilitated by QazIndustry, was conducted to the Sigma Industries manufacturing plant, attended by representatives of major Oil & Gas operators in the country.

Guests from TCO, KPO and NCOC visited Sigma Solutions' (SIGMA) head office, where at a round-table were discussed about the company's operations and future expansion plans, while the presentation provided answers to all interested questions.

During the round-table exchange of ideas, SIGMA expressed the hope that in the future operators will be able to set up a separate procurement lot for explosion-proof equipment, as it is practiced in many international companies. This direction has its own specifics, both in terms of the possibility of standardization of the solution and in terms of simplification of the equipment maintenance process. Thus, it would support a real increase in the share of national production in procurement, reducing costs by 15%-25%, and for the state, in turn, it is an opportunity to increase taxes for the budget and employment of local employees.



At the meeting, Bauyrzhan Kalen, Director of the Kazakhstan Industry and Export Centre QazIndustry, expressed confidence that such collaborative visiting events help to strengthen business and trusting partnerships between operators and local suppliers. At the same time, Bauyrzhan Kalen told about a government reimbursement program that will provide an additional tool to support local manufacturers.
